Service Learning with Street Children (Sahabat Anak)

Character Building Students from Bina Bangsa School Kebun Jeruk went to visit street children under the foundation of Sahabat Anak on 12 December 2016.
We came for knowing them more. As street children, their life really struggle. Their parents only can support them for daily basis. For additional needs, they can afford it by singing on the street.

Through this activity, we can learn that our life much much better than them. We learn that every thing that we have, we learn to share to people in needs.

Blessed to be a blessing

  4. This wonderful experience have taught me what it is like to be a student driven with the spirit to share and lead. Being among them just helps me humble myself down and have fun. This truly is a different type of fun that we are privileged enough to experience. Looking forward to join the next active service next academic year.

  5. I joined the Sahabat Anak community service and through this platform, it has helped me to realize how lucky I am to be able to live in a proper house, receive proper education, etc. I enjoyed the trip and would love to join more events similar to this. 12. This was the shortest visit but it was still memorable. Eventhough it was really awkward at first, we managed to interacted with each other through the ice breaker games. When we sang together, it was such a touching and heartwarming feeling that we could be one through music. They were happy about the gifts and food they recieved too. I realized that there are so many different types of people in this world and everybody lives life in a different way.
